SB 120 Summary

• Requires all registered owners and operators of poultry feeding operations to provide proof of state residency for at least two (2) years immediately preceding application, with acceptable documentation including unexpired driver's license, state ID card, utility bills, property deed, or rental agreement.

• Requires all licensed owners and operators of concentrated animal feeding operations to provide the same proof of state residency documentation for at least two (2) years prior to application.

• Applies residency requirements to new registrations, license renewals, and transfers of operations to new owners or operators.

• Establishes penalties of up to $10,000 for knowingly making false statements or omitting material data from applications for registration or licensure.

• Effective date: November 1, 2025.
