SB124 Summary

• Defines "firearm suppressor" as any device designed to muffle the report of a firearm being discharged, and establishes that suppressors manufactured in Oklahoma and remaining in the state are not subject to federal regulation under interstate commerce authority.

• Requires firearm suppressors manufactured and sold in Oklahoma to have "Made in Oklahoma" clearly stamped, machined, or engraved on them.

• Specifies that a suppressor qualifies as Oklahoma-manufactured if made from basic materials in-state, contains no imported parts except generic and insignificant parts (such as springs, screws, nuts, or pins), and regardless of whether any imported firearm is used with it.

• Prohibits state agencies, municipalities, and political subdivisions from adopting rules, ordinances, or policies that regulate firearm suppressors in ways that exceed state law restrictions.

• Takes effect November 1, 2025.
