Amends Section 914 of the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System statute to modify the separation period required before a retired member can be rehired by their former employer from one (1) year to six (6) months.

Requires retired members who return to work for a participating employer to make contributions to the System, and employers must do likewise.

Updates statutory references and language throughout Section 914, including changing "this act" to "Section 901 et seq. of this title."

Clarifies that a retired member can be rehired or enter into an employment contract with a former employer after the six-month separation period, unless they waive their benefit and return as a bona fide employee.

Becomes effective November 1, 2025.
