Extends in-person absentee voting hours to include 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Saturday of each of the three weeks immediately preceding Primary, Runoff Primary, and Presidential Preferential Primary Elections, and adds 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Wednesday immediately preceding a General Election.

Requires county election boards in counties with 25,000+ registered voters or exceeding 1,500 square miles to designate more than one in-person absentee polling location for every 15,000 registered voters, subject to State Election Board approval.

Authorizes sheriffs or law enforcement officers to secure electronic results storage media and transfer cases containing in-person absentee ballots at the end of each voting day, with return required no later than 7:45 a.m. the next day or at the time of the county election board's absentee ballot counting meeting.

Permits sheriffs or law enforcement officers to return transfer cases to the county election board for recount if electronic results storage media malfunctions.

Becomes effective January 1, 2026.
