OK SB401

Creates new Section 1239 of Title 69 of the Oklahoma Statutes to establish liability protections for traffic control contractors and subcontractors providing services to the Department of Transportation.

Prohibits traffic control contractors and subcontractors from liability for personal injury, property damage, or death arising from their traffic control services if they comply with all applicable Department of Transportation safety regulations related to the condition or defect that caused the injury, damage, or death.

Liability protection applies only when the contractor or subcontractor is in full compliance with applicable Department safety regulations at the time of the incident.

Becomes effective November 1, 2025.
