SB 405 Summary

• Amends 19 O.S. 2021, Section 339 to add new authority for county commissioners to work with ambulance service districts established under Section 9C of Article X of the Oklahoma Constitution to minimize costs to such entities

• Renumbers existing subsections (27-30) to (28-31) to accommodate the new ambulance service district provision as subsection 26

• Updates statutory language throughout Section 339 including correcting references to "right-of-way" terminology and updating program names such as the National Association of Counties prescription drug discount program

• Becomes effective November 1, 2025
