Permits any person to forage for nuts, edible plants, and fungi on state-owned or state-managed public property for personal consumption only, effective November 1, 2025

Prohibits foraging from certified agricultural crops and threatened or endangered plants

Excludes certain locations from foraging: state/university research farms, leased land without lessee permission, roadsides, law enforcement facilities, and correctional facility areas

Foraging on Wildlife Management Areas managed by the Department of Wildlife Conservation will be permitted after July 1, 2026, subject to rules established by the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission

Encourages foragers to wear hunter orange outer garments for visibility and to learn which plants are safe for consumption
