• Requires prosecuting individuals (Attorney General, district attorneys, special prosecutors, city attorneys) who maintain Brady-Giglio lists to adopt written policies detailing criteria for placement, officer rights to notice and input, and reconsideration procedures.

• Mandates written notice to officers' current or last known employers before placement on Brady-Giglio lists, including the right to request documents, provide information, and submit a reconsideration request within 30 days.

• Allows officers to request reconsideration of Brady-Giglio list placement and be removed if the request is approved by the prosecuting individual.

• Requires prosecuting individuals who maintained Brady-Giglio lists before the effective date to notify all listed officers within 90 days and allow 30 days for reconsideration requests.

• Prohibits private lawsuits against prosecuting individuals for damages from Brady-Giglio list inclusion; does not restrict prosecutors' duty to produce Brady-Giglio discovery or ability to remove officers based on new information; becomes effective November 1, 2025.
