Senate Bill 494 Summary

• Removes all references to CompSource Oklahoma from state statutes and eliminates exemptions that allowed it to operate as a pilot program under Sections 3316 and 3317 of Title 74

• Repeals 36 O.S. 2021, Section 902.3 (workers' compensation provisions) and 74 O.S. 2021, Sections 3316 and 3317 (CompSource Oklahoma authorization statutes)

• Amends multiple sections of state law (Title 62, Title 74, and Title 85A) to remove exemptions for CompSource Oklahoma from telecommunications regulations, budget requirements, property management rules, vehicle requisition procedures, and surplus property disposal requirements

• Changes reference in workers' compensation physician advisory committee provisions from "CompSource Oklahoma" to "CompSource Oklahoma Mutual Insurance Company" to reflect entity naming distinction

• Becomes effective November 1, 2025
