Authorizes Oklahoma sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, and reserve deputy sheriffs to perform duties outside their county of employment during the National Sheriffs' Association annual conference in Oklahoma County during June 2024.

Officers performing conference duties outside their county of employment retain the same powers and duties as those employed by the sheriff's office where they are performing work.

Liability for conduct during conference duties remains the responsibility of the officer's home county of employment, which continues to provide salaries, insurance, and benefits.

Any duties assigned under this section terminate on July 1, 2024.

Act becomes effective November 1, 2025.
