SB 625 Summary

• Requires parties to produce commercial litigation funding agreements upon request during discovery, with information about the agreement made inadmissible as evidence at trial.

• Mandates sworn affidavit certification disclosing whether funds in commercial litigation funding agreements are sourced from foreign states or agencies, with identity of foreign source to be included if applicable, and certification to be updated within 30 days if it becomes inaccurate.

• Requires additional sworn affidavit certification identifying whether the party is controlled by a foreign adversary, including admissions/denials about control and whether documents/information will be shared with foreign adversary-controlled entities.

• Exempts consumer litigation funding agreements as defined in Title 14A, Section 3-801 of Oklahoma Statutes from these disclosure requirements.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2025.
