Mandates school personnel include parents, legal guardians, or alternate adults in electronic or digital communications with students, except for school-approved platform academic communications.

Allows exceptions to inclusion requirements only in emergencies, with subsequent notification to the parent, guardian, or alternate adult required.

Requires school districts to provide State Department of Education-developed training to personnel on communication requirements and establishes disciplinary procedures up to and including termination for violations.
