Prohibits possession of firearms or weapons on public or private school property or school vehicles, with specified exceptions in Section 1272 of Oklahoma law.

Allows hunting or fishing firearms in privately owned vehicles on school property only for transporting students to and from school, provided the vehicle does not remain unattended.

Permits licensed individuals to carry concealed or unconcealed firearms onto private school property if the private school's governing entity has adopted a policy authorizing such possession; grants liability immunity to private schools for injuries arising from the policy except in cases of gross negligence or willful or wanton misconduct.

Allows handguns in privately owned motor vehicles parked on school property if stored and hidden from view in a locked vehicle when unattended.

Permits designated public school personnel with armed security guard licenses or reserve peace officer certifications to carry handguns on public school property if the school board adopts an authorizing policy.

Establishes misdemeanor penalty of up to $250 fine for violations; becomes effective November 1, 2025.
