OK SJR1

Directs the Secretary of State to refer a proposed amendment to Section 23 of Article V of the Oklahoma Constitution to voters for approval or rejection.

Adds subsection B to Section 23, allowing legislators to be employed as certified teachers by public school districts in Oklahoma after completing their elected term.

Maintains existing prohibitions on legislators receiving appointments or being interested in state contracts during their term and for two years thereafter.

Changes constitutional language from gender-specific pronouns ("he") to gender-neutral pronouns ("he or she") throughout Section 23.

Requires the President Pro Tempore of the Senate to file copies of the resolution with the Secretary of State and Attorney General immediately after passage.
