Recognizes the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center as one of the top 10 employers in the Oklahoma City region and the largest Department of Transportation facility outside Washington, D.C.

Acknowledges the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Academy located within the center trains over 20,000 students annually and serves as the primary training facility for air traffic controllers.

Honors the nearly 80-year presence of the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center and expresses support for its continued role in national aviation security.

Commends individuals who undergo arduous training to work in America's air traffic control towers and maintain safe flight operations.
