The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) was founded in 1975 through a merger of three organizations dedicated to serving state and territorial legislators.

NCSL operates as a bipartisan organization with three core objectives: advancing state legislature effectiveness, independence, and integrity; fostering interstate communication and cooperation; and ensuring states maintain a strong voice in the federal system.

The Oklahoma State Senate recognizes and commends NCSL for its leadership in facilitating the exchange of ideas, providing research and information, and encouraging rigorous review of complex issues facing communities and states.

A copy of this resolution shall be distributed to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

The resolution was adopted by the Oklahoma State Senate on April 23, 2025.
