The 2024 Oklahoma softball team, under head coach Patty Gasso, won the NCAA-record fourth consecutive national title by sweeping rival Texas in the Women's College World Series.

The Oklahoma softball program has won eight national championships over its 50-year history, including six in the past eight years and seven in the past 11 years, and competed in 17 Women's College World Series.

The team opened Love's Field on March 1, 2024, and set an NCAA single-season attendance record of 108,156 fans with an average crowd size of 4,326.

Coach Gasso earned her 1,500th NCAA Division I win and became the first Big 12 coach in any sport to record 400 conference victories; five Sooners were named 2024 NFCA All-Americans.
