Automatic expungement of nonviolent misdemeanor criminal arrest records beginning November 1, 2025, for individuals who have waited at least 10 years since conviction, have no felony convictions, have paid all fines, fees, and restitution, and have no pending charges

"Clean slate eligible cases" (including acquittals, dismissals, reversed convictions, identity theft victims, and certain misdemeanor categories) become eligible for automatic record sealing 3 years after the act's effective date, subject to fund availability

Individuals may still file a petition for expungement if automatic expungement has not yet occurred for eligible records

Prosecuting agencies, arresting agencies, OSBI, or other interested parties may petition the court to unseal automatically expunged records

Oklahoma Supreme Court directed to promulgate rules for district courts to implement the automatic expungement provisions if deemed necessary
