Extends existing teacher dismissal reporting requirements to also cover school administrators, requiring superintendents to submit written recommendations for dismissal or non-reemployment to the local board of education

Requires dismissal recommendations involving potential criminal conduct or certificate revocation to be forwarded to the State Board of Education regardless of whether the teacher or administrator resigns before or after the termination recommendation is made

Mandates that if a teacher or administrator resigns while under investigation for conduct that could lead to criminal charges or certificate revocation, a report including investigatory findings must be sent to the State Board of Education

Provides for expungement of reports from State Board of Education records if investigations conclude without findings supporting criminal charges, certificate revocation, or termination, with written clearance notification sent to all affected parties

Effective date of July 1, 2025, with an emergency clause allowing immediate effect upon passage and approval
