Establishes 18 as the minimum marriage age in Oklahoma by removing most existing exceptions that allowed minors to marry with parental consent

Eliminates provisions that previously permitted 16- and 17-year-olds to marry with parental or guardian consent under various circumstances

Retains one narrow exception: minors may marry if a court has granted them the rights of majority (emancipation) under Oklahoma law

Removes the previous exception allowing those under 16 to marry in cases of pregnancy or to settle paternity/seduction suits

Effective date: November 1, 2025
