Individuals entering through gates on easement properties must maintain the gate's position (leave it as found—open or closed)

First offense is a misdemeanor with penalties up to $500 fine and/or 90 days in county jail

Second offense increases penalties to up to $1,000 fine and/or 180 days in county jail

Third or subsequent offenses carry penalties up to $1,500 fine and/or 1 year in county jail, plus civil liability for damages

Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry will promulgate implementing rules; effective November 1, 2025
