Extends existing whistleblower protections for teachers to also cover school district support employees, prohibiting districts from taking disciplinary action against either group for reporting suspected legal violations

Protects employees who disclose public information to correct perceived violations of the Oklahoma Constitution, state/federal law, or administrative rules, including reports made without prior notice to supervisors

Requires school districts to prominently post or publish the whistleblower law in locations accessible to all teachers and support employees

Maintains FERPA protections, specifying that whistleblower provisions do not permit employees to violate student or parent confidentiality rights

Effective July 1, 2025, with emergency clause allowing immediate effect upon passage and approval
