Oklahoma school districts must annually provide research-based fentanyl abuse prevention and drug poisoning awareness instruction to students in grades 6-12, known as "Rain's Law"

Required instruction must cover suicide prevention, fentanyl abuse and addiction prevention, local school and community resources, and health education about fentanyl substance use

Instruction may be provided by higher education institutions, libraries, community service organizations, religious organizations, public health agencies, or mental health organizations

The Governor must designate a Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness Week in public schools, timed to coincide with National Red Ribbon Week

The State Board of Education must adopt curriculum standards for fentanyl awareness, and the State Department of Education must provide resources to schools; effective date is July 1, 2026
