Amends Oklahoma's child endangerment statute (21 O.S. 2021, Section 852.1) to clarify that a driver commits child endangerment when operating a vehicle while impaired or simply having a child present in the vehicle while impaired

Child endangerment occurs when a parent, guardian, or custodian knowingly permits physical or sexual abuse, allows a child at drug manufacturing locations, or permits a child in a vehicle with an impaired driver

Provides an affirmative defense if the person reasonably feared that intervening would result in substantial bodily harm to themselves or the child

Violation is a felony punishable by up to 4 years imprisonment, a fine up to $5,000, or both
