Ballots for each precinct must be printed in advance of election day, though the Secretary of the State Election Board may authorize additional ballot printing on election day in cases of shortage or emergency

Registered voters must appear at their assigned precinct polling place on election day rather than any location in the jurisdiction

Vote centers—locations where any voter in a jurisdiction can vote regardless of precinct assignment—are prohibited for election day voting by both state and county election boards

Emergency exceptions to the vote center prohibition may be authorized by the Secretary of the State Election Board, but only for precincts directly impacted by the emergency

Effective date is July 1, 2025, with an emergency clause allowing immediate effect upon passage and approval
