Every employer registered in Oklahoma must use a status verification system for all new hires beginning November 1, 2025

Acceptable verification systems include E-Verify, equivalent federal programs designated by the Department of Homeland Security, the Social Security Number Verification Service, or third-party systems with equal or higher reliability

Employers who violate the requirement receive three warnings before penalties apply

After the third warning, fines range from $100 to $500 per offense for employers, officers, or agents who fail to comply
