Amends 22 O.S. 2021, Section 1325 to update notice requirements for sheriff's offices and campus police agencies disposing of unclaimed property held for at least 6 months

Eliminates the requirement for first-class mail notice to owners when inmate commissary property is valued at less than $50.00

Removes the phrase "In addition" regarding public notice requirements, making posted or published notice the primary method rather than supplemental to mailed notice

Maintains existing procedures allowing disposal of unclaimed property through public sale, destruction, donation to 501(c)(3) organizations, or transfer to governmental subdivisions

Effective date: November 1, 2025
