Oklahoma joins the Social Work Licensure Compact, allowing licensed social workers (clinical, master's, or bachelor's level) to practice across member states through a single multistate license issued by their home state

Applicants for multistate licenses must hold an unencumbered license, submit fingerprints for FBI criminal background checks, pass a qualifying national exam, and graduate from an accredited social work program

Establishes the Social Work Licensure Compact Commission as a joint government agency to administer the compact, maintain a data system for licensee information, and promulgate binding rules across member states

Active military members and their spouses may retain their home state designation while on active duty, supporting military family mobility

Effective November 1, 2025; the compact becomes operational when enacted by seven states, with provisions for state withdrawal after 180 days' notice
