Providers prohibited from collecting, storing, or requiring personally identifiable information beyond what is strictly necessary to complete payment

Charging stations must accept universally accepted payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payment systems without requiring registration

Exempts private charging stations and those designated for exclusive use by specific individuals, businesses, or organizations
