Waives resident and nonresident tuition at Oklahoma State System of Higher Education institutions for spouses and children of Gold Star recipients (service members killed in the line of duty in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces)

Extends waiver of fees and room and board at state higher education institutions to Gold Star families, adding them to existing beneficiaries (children of deceased peace officers, firefighters, and EMTs)

Waives tuition and fees at Oklahoma career technology districts for spouses and children of Gold Star recipients

Eligibility requires either that the deceased service member was an Oklahoma legal resident at time of death, or that the spouse/child maintains Oklahoma residency during enrollment

All waivers are limited to a period of five years; act becomes effective November 1, 2026
