Extends the sunset date of the Board of Examiners in Optometry from July 1, 2026 to July 1, 2031, allowing the board to continue operating for an additional five years

Board consists of five members: four licensed optometrists who have practiced in Oklahoma for at least five years, plus one lay member

Licensed optometrist board members serve five-year terms with one appointed annually; the lay member serves coterminous with the Governor at the Governor's pleasure

Act becomes effective July 1, 2026, with an emergency clause allowing immediate effect upon passage and approval
