Expands sex offender "zones of safety" to include facilities, businesses, and locations that primarily cater to minors, such as skating rinks, youth recreation centers, public swimming pools, arcades, amusement parks, and water parks

Prohibits registered sex offenders from loitering within 500 feet of the newly expanded locations if their victim was under age 16

Prohibits habitual or aggravated sex offenders from entering any zone of safety location, expanding the existing park prohibition to cover all protected areas

Violations constitute a Class D1 felony punishable by fines up to $2,500 and/or imprisonment for both first and subsequent offenses

Effective date of November 1, 2026
