Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission must adopt clear guidelines ensuring consistent application of International Residential Code standards for small multifamily buildings statewide

Buildings with 2 to 4 dwelling units are classified as residential structures subject to International Residential Code provisions rather than commercial building codes

Amends Section 1000.24 of Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes to add this new power to the Commission's existing authority

Effective date: November 1, 2026
