State Department of Education must create and manage a statewide database registering all school support employees, which may be integrated with existing educator certification or personnel tracking systems

Database must include each support employee's full legal name, employing school district and site, position/role, and a unique permanent identification number issued by the Department for employment verification and record continuity

School districts must submit required information for all employed support personnel by October 1, 2026

Districts must update the Department within 30 days of any new support employee hire or any termination/separation from employment

Effective date: November 1, 2026
