Creates the "Providers' Bill of Rights Act of 2026" requiring assisted living facilities to post a providers' bill of rights in a prominent location

Grants providers the right to terminate resident contracts for just cause with 30-day written notice, or immediately if required by resident health needs or physical safety concerns

Allows providers to refuse inappropriate referrals, decline services beyond contracted terms, refuse to share information with third-party providers, and maintain weapon-free and drug-free environments

Entitles providers to access relevant consumer records for placement assessments and to be informed of residents' histories including self-abuse, violent behavior, alcoholism, or drug abuse

Effective date: November 1, 2026
