Amends 63 O.S. 2021, Section 2-309 to require electronic prescriptions for compounded prescriptions, compounded infusion prescriptions, and prescriptions issued under approved research protocols (changing "may" to "shall")

Previously, electronic prescriptions were optional for these three categories of compound prescriptions; the bill makes them mandatory

Maintains existing exemptions from electronic prescription requirements for veterinarians, practitioners experiencing technological failures, direct dispensing to patients, hospice programs, and prescriptions to be consumed within 72 hours

Effective date: November 1, 2026
