Amends 22 O.S. Section 1053 to add statutory definitions for "suppressing evidence" and "excluding evidence" in the context of state and municipal appeals to the Court of Criminal Appeals

Defines "suppressing evidence" as disallowing or limiting evidence based on constitutional grounds

Defines "excluding evidence" as disallowing or limiting evidence for any other reason, including nonconstitutional violations, federal or state law, Oklahoma Evidence Code, common law principles, or court decisions

Maintains existing appeal grounds for the state, including appeals of pretrial orders suppressing or excluding evidence, particularly in cases involving violations of Title 21 Section 13.1 or Title 57 Section 571

Effective date is November 1, 2026
