Elevates the crime of making false written statements to obtain property, cash, loans, or credit from a misdemeanor to a felony under 21 O.S. Section 1501

Increases maximum imprisonment from 6 months in county jail to 2 years in Department of Corrections custody

Raises the minimum fine from $500 to $2,500

Applies to knowingly making false statements about financial condition, ability to pay, or property values to fraudulently obtain loans, credit, or other financial benefits
