Amends the definition of "journeyman electrician" to specify they are licensed to install, alter, repair, maintain, or renovate electric systems under employment or supervision of a licensed electrical contractor

Journeyman electricians may work on behalf of licensed contractors and supervise apprentices, but cannot independently bid for projects or enter into contracts

All electrical work permits must be obtained under the licensed contractor's name and license number

Licensed contractors are legally liable for all work performed by journeyman electricians on contracted jobs
