Bars insurers from restricting or excluding coverage or payment for anesthesia time

Defines "anesthesia time" as the period from when a practitioner begins preparing the patient through when anesthesia services conclude, including continuous care around interruptions

Requires anesthesia payment calculations to follow prevailing medical billing standards including AMA CPT codes, Medicare guidelines, and American Society of Anesthesiologists guidance

Effective date: November 1, 2025
