Petition circulators must be registered Oklahoma voters and must conspicuously display whether they are being paid to collect signatures and by whom; compensation cannot be based on the number of signatures collected

Only persons or entities residing or doing business in Oklahoma may contribute to or compensate petition circulators; weekly expenditure reports must be filed with the Secretary of State and published online

Signatures from any single county are capped at 11.5% of that county's gubernatorial vote total for statutory petitions, or 20.8% for constitutional amendment petitions

Petition gist statements must use plain language found in general dictionaries, cannot contain professional jargon, euphemisms, code words, or language that attempts to deceive voters, and must disclose any fiscal impact

Electors must provide their county of residence when signing, and their signature serves as attestation that they read the gist or had it read to them; the Secretary of State must establish procedures for voters to request signature removal
