Increases the cap on noneconomic damages in bodily injury civil actions from $350,000 to $500,000, regardless of the number of defendants or lawsuits filed

Removes the cap entirely when clear and convincing evidence shows the defendant acted with reckless disregard, gross negligence, fraud, or intentional/malicious conduct

Requires juries to specify in their verdicts the total compensatory damages, economic losses, noneconomic losses, and any findings of aggravated misconduct by the defendant

Prohibits informing juries about the noneconomic damage cap; the limit is applied by the court only after the jury renders its verdict

Effective November 1, 2025, applying to civil actions filed on or after that date
