Amends 51 O.S. 2021, Section 6 to add a new exemption (paragraph 30) allowing campus police officers to serve as elected members of a town or municipal governing board, provided the town or municipality is outside of where they serve as a campus police officer

Maintains all existing 30 exemptions to Oklahoma's dual office-holding prohibition, including exemptions for notaries public, law enforcement officers on school boards, public trust trustees, and various state employees serving on boards or commissions

Updates statutory language by replacing "the State of Oklahoma" with "this state" and correcting the reference to "Oklahoma State University Medical Authority" (removing "Center")

Declared an emergency measure, taking effect immediately upon passage and approval rather than the standard 90-day waiting period

Passed the House on May 5, 2025 and the Senate on May 14, 2025
