Real estate brokers and agents may negotiate compensation and fees with their represented party before providing services

Brokers must disclose all compensation and fee information to the represented party in advance, including which party is responsible for payment and the amount of each payment per transaction

Brokers or agents who collect fees in advance must provide a detailed accounting of expenditures within 10 days after services are performed, or upon written request, but no longer than 1 year from the contract date

Real estate brokers and agents cannot be required to obtain a buyer broker showing agreement or contract before showing real estate to potential buyers
