Increases the monthly taxable compensation for certified and support school district personnel who opt out of the district-sponsored cafeteria plan from $69.71 (certified) and $189.69 (support) to $500.00 per month

School district employees participating in the cafeteria plan must use their flexible benefit allowance first for major medical health coverage, with any excess available for additional benefits or taxable compensation

Employees who fulfill their contract terms and leave for the following year remain entitled to the flexible benefit allowance for the remainder of their current 12-month benefit term

School districts may provide superintendents a flexible benefit allowance up to the certified personnel amount, funded through local revenue
