Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department exempted from the Oklahoma Central Purchasing Act for merchandise purchases up to $75,000

Exemption applies to merchandise for resale sold online, in publications, or through department retail outlets including lodges, gift shops, golf course pro shops, and restaurants

Exemption specifically excludes leasing or contracting for state-owned restaurants in state parks

Amends 74 O.S. 2021, Section 85.3A to add the Tourism and Recreation Department to the list of entities exempt from central purchasing requirements

Declared an emergency measure, taking effect immediately upon passage and approval; passed the Senate on February 25, 2026
