Statewide Charter School Board may suspend a sponsor's authority to charter new schools if the sponsor fails to conduct required annual oversight reviews or compliance reviews

Statewide Charter School Board may suspend sponsoring authority if at least 25% of a sponsor's charter schools close within a five-year period, with deficiencies identified that must be corrected for reinstatement

Effective date is July 1, 2026, with emergency clause for immediate effect upon passage
