Authorizes the Department of Public Safety and Department of Transportation to place automated speed enforcement devices at the start of construction zones, with warning signs required 100 feet before each device

Devices may only capture images and alert officers when drivers exceed the posted work zone speed limit by more than 10 miles per hour

Images not used as evidence must be deleted within 15 minutes; images used for citations must be deleted within 24 hours of resolution

Prohibits the Department of Public Safety from retaining, selling, or transferring captured images, and bars use of devices for identification or analysis purposes

Requires calibration each time a device is repositioned, with twice-yearly independent audits and a $1,000 per-image fine for vendors who violate retention rules; effective November 1, 2026
