No child support obligation shall be awarded to either parent in cases of joint custody where both parents have joint physical custody and equally shared parenting time

Transportation expenses between parents' homes and additional expenses (child care, daycare, school-related costs) shall be divided between parents in proportion to their adjusted gross income

In split custody cases where each parent has physical custody of at least one child, child support is calculated for each arrangement and the parent with the larger obligation pays the difference

Standard child support computation rules (based on combined parental gross income) no longer apply to true joint custody arrangements with equal parenting time
