Persons with a valid Oklahoma handgun license or armed security license may carry a concealed handgun in the State Capitol Building upon presenting their license at controlled access points

City, town, county, or state governing bodies may now authorize concealed carry of handguns in government-owned or leased buildings, office spaces, and vehicles (except courthouses, jails, and detention facilities)

Peace officers and security guards at the State Capitol are prohibited from removing, inspecting, or restraining persons lawfully carrying concealed handguns under this provision

Violations of the unlawful carry provisions remain a misdemeanor under existing penalty statutes
